Through his interactions with government officials, advocacy experts, scholars, and diplomats, Jonathan has gained public diplomacy skills. Today, he is a top presenter for the United States Speakers’ Bureau, speaking about global engagement to embassies all over the world.

ENVEST

In 2018, Jonathan developed a strategic partnership with Meridian International (U.S. Department of State) to form ENVEST (Entrepreneurs Investing in Change). ENVEST trains youth and women located in developing countries in the fundamental of entrepreneurism and finance. ENVEST beneficiaries are encourages to launch and grow their own businesses.

GLOBAL TIES DETROIT & US

As a longstanding member of the Executive Committee of Global Ties Detroit, and more recently, as a Board Member of Global Ties U.S., Jonathan has hosted international professionals and emerging leaders in an effort to cultivate connections and more meaningful cross-cultural exchange.
